Research: blockchain salaries rise 133%

According to the Chinese company Zhaopin, the demand for specialists in the field of blockchain is constantly growing, but the supply is growing reluctantly, which leads to a rapid rise in salaries in this area.

According to Zhaopin researchers, jobs for blockchain professionals have been posted on hundreds of Chinese recruiting platforms. And if the average salary of such an employee last year was $ 1,230, then at the moment it has increased by 133%, reaching $ 2,865.

At the same time, even more attractive conditions are offered for experienced developers of blockchain-based systems, as well as specialists in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Professionals who have been in the industry for more than 3 years can expect a monthly salary of $ 7,000.

Not only tech companies and internet giants are looking for blockchain specialists, but also traditional banking institutions like China Construction Bank and China CITIC Bank. At the same time, developers and programmers, blockchain engineers and other technology specialists are most often looked for.

Recall that last fall, Xi Jinping, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, called for accelerating the implementation of blockchain in the country. Until 2023, China plans to invest up to $ 2 billion in the development of this technology.
